With a 50 percent chance of landing a top-four pick in the 2024 draft, the Portland Trail Blazers are about as far away from the NBA Finals as you can get. Fans in general, though, look forward the season's final contests that feature the two best teams and a chance at a career-changing NBA Championship.

Round one of the playoffs is in full swing, but there's still plenty of drama left before we reach that point. Where on the NBA calendar do the most important games in basketball land?

When are the 2024 NBA Finals?

Clear your schedule for the beginning of June.

After another six weeks filled with trash-talking, breakout performances, heroics and buzzer-beaters, the 2024 NBA Finals kick off on June 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The schedule for the first four games is as follows:

  • Game 1: Thursday, June 6 (8:30 p.m.)
  • Game 2: Sunday, June 9 (8 p.m.)
  • Game 3: Wednesday, June 12 (8:30 p.m.)
  • Game 4: Friday, June 14 (8:30 p.m.)

It would be pretty anti-climactic to finish the season with a four-game sweep, though. A seven-game series sounds far more enticing. If Games 5, 6 and 7 are needed, they're scheduled for:

  • Game 5: Monday, June 17 (8:30 p.m.)
  • Game 6: Thursday, June 20 (8:30 p.m.)
  • Game 7: Sunday, June 23 (8 p.m.)
