Julian Reed is a contributor at Rip City Project. He is a recent high school graduate from Beaverton who spent much of his childhood obsessed with baseball and vaguely annoyed by basketball. Once he came to his senses, he spent three years irrationally believing that Luke Babbitt was a future All-Star. In retrospect, it was probably a stroke of luck that Babbitt left for Russia the same year Julian’s basketball opinions were broadcast to a wider audience on this very site. He is perpetually in the middle of at least a dozen books and can solve a Rubik’s Cube in about thirty seconds. He is probably listening to a podcast right now, so don’t bother him.
