The Trail Blazers’ home winning streak is up to eight games. All is well in Rip City.

The Portland Trail Blazers came into tonight’s game red-hot and rollin’. Winners of six of their last seven games (after losing three straight two weeks ago), they weren’t letting seasonal “trade talk” distract.

Donning their new Nike City Edition Uniforms, the Trail Blazers annihilated the visiting Chicago Bulls. Winning by 16 points (it wasn’t even that close), Portland hasn’t looked this amazing as a team since opening night’s thrashing of Phoenix.

Sure, it was against the Chicago Bulls, a rebuilding team now on a five-game losing skid and playing without their best player. However, an impressive win with historic scoring outputs is top-tier basketball no matter the opponent.

Now at 29-22, still sixth in the Western Conference, the Trail Blazers will head to Toronto to face the Raptors (34-15, second in the Eastern Conference) on Friday.
