Damian Lillard on Kristaps Porzingis.

Damian Lillard went on Twitter and started answering questions from fans.

He got asked “ Thoughts on Porzingis?”

Dame replied “ If he ever gets tired of New York … Lol”

In just so happens Porzingis and George are not happy with their current situations.

Paul George’s name was mentioned a lot during this years NBA trade deadline. He has one year left on his deal with Indiana and then he has a player option. If he declines that option, he will be a free agent in 2018. It has been rumored he wants out of town so the Pacers should consider trading him before they lose him, for nothing.

George has career averages (according to Basketball Reference) of, 18.1 points-6.3 rebounds-3.2 assists-1.7 steals. 43.2 FG%-37 3pt%. He is explosive on offense and a very good defender, George is a top 10-15 player in the NBA. He is 6’9 ,220 pounds. The Blazers are in need of a versatile wing scorer, Paul George would be perfect.

The New York Knicks have not been a good NBA franchise for the past few seasons and their young star Porzingis is fed up with it.  At the end of the year, the Knicks held exit meetings with their GM Phil Jackson. Every coach and player met with Jackson, besides Porzingis. He decided to skip out and head back to his home country.

This is only his 2nd year in New York. He had his best season this year, despite how bad the Knicks were. He put up 18.1 points-7.2 rebounds-1.5 assists-2.0 blocks. 45 FG%-35.7 3PT%. Porzingas is 7’2, plays like a mixture of Dirk and KD, and is still only 21 years old.

The Portland Trail Blazers have two star players in Damian Lillard-C.J McCollum and possible a 3rd in 22 year old center Jusuf Nurkic. But they need another piece if they want to be a top team. And Porzingis would be a great fit starting at the 4.
