Philadelphia 76ers

Maximum Cap Space: $61.2

Current Shooting Guards: Hollis Thompson, Nik Stauskas

The Sixers have finally landed the number one pick in the NBA Draft, which means things are about to get a lot brighter in Philadelphia. Assuming that they draft Ben Simmons, they will be in need of perimeter shooting. Crabbe is a solid shooter and he is the correct age to fit Philadelphia’s timeline to contention.

Stauskas did very little to impress in his first year with the Sixers (.326 3P%), so it might be time to look for another option for the future. Inserting Crabbe into a lineup with Simmons and Robert Covington would give Philadelphia tons of flexibility at the wing. Throw in one of their young big men (Joel Embiid, Nerlens Noel, Jahlil Okafor) and you now have a team that could be contending for a playoff spot in the near future.

Philadelphia has the option to offer Crabbe an extremely lucrative contract. The new regime is still looking to the future, but they also value winning in the short term. Adding Crabbe would give the Sixers the best of both worlds.
