1.) San Antonio Spurs

Even though the Golden State Warriors might be the best regular season NBA team of all time, the San Antonio Spurs are the worst matchup for the Trail Blazers. With all the coverage of Golden State’s historic run this season, San Antonio is only four games back in the loss column. And remember, the Spurs don’t even care about the regular season; they always turn it up a notch in the playoffs.

Beyond their 20 year run of success in the playoffs, San Antonio is a terrible matchup. If Damian Lillard or C.J. McCollum start a game off hot, the Spurs have an answer: The demoralizing, octopus-armed Kawhi Leonard.

If the three games Portland has played against San Antonio so far this season has been any indication of things to come, it does not look good. Plus, even if you have moved on emotionally, it is never fun to see an old ex (LaMarcus Aldridge) doing well.
