Shaedon Sharpe gets traded in 2030

This prediction is difficult to write as Shaedon Sharpe is a fan favorite, and in a perfect world, he would spend his whole career in Portland and retire as a Trail Blazer. But it's become increasingly difficult in today's NBA for a player to spend his entire career with one team like Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kobe Bryant have in the past.

Many thought Damian Lillard would spend his entire career with the Blazers, and there have even been rumblings about whether the best shooter of all time, Stephen Curry, will be content in Golden State if the Warriors come up short again next season.

Because the NBA landscape seemingly changes weekly, Sharpe's potential departure is nearly impossible to predict. In this specific scenario, Sharpe gets moved in a package deal as the Blazers trade to acquire a superstar; they finally make an aggressive playoff push around Henderson, Avdija, Clingan, and any other first-round draft picks in the coming seasons.

But the main point is that Sharpe isn't expected to be moved anytime soon, unlike most of the Blazers' starting lineup. The Blazers are committed to building around Sharpe—he's a foundational piece and focal point of their rebuild.
