Any first-round picks

This is the most probable type of asset the Trail Blazers can acquire at this year's deadline. A few different teams have been linked to Brogdon - the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Orlando Magic among them.

Most organizations see the veteran guard as worthy of a late first-round pick. A deal that would send him to New York, for example, could bring back Evan Fournier and a lottery-protected first (or Quentin Grimes if Blazers General Manager Joe Cronin prefers him in that kind of deal.)

A package of matching salaries and a protected first rounder is probably the best Portland can hope to get for Brogdon, but it's a trade that is likely to happen.
