After missing nine games with an ankle injury, Portland Trail Blazers rookie guard Scoot Henderson will finally make his return tonight as his team takes on the Utah Jazz.

Scoot Henderson is playing tonight against the Utah Jazz

The No. 3 pick in the 2023 draft played four games and then exited his fifth, a win against the Detroit Pistons on Nov. 1. Scoot had struggled to start the season but was in the middle of his best NBA game as he had 11 points and 7 assists through 20 minutes.

Coincidentally, Portland has only won once since Henderson exited that win against Detroit.

The Trail Blazers now have three of their four main guards healthy

Malcolm Brogdon returned in a loss to the Phoenix Suns on Nov. 21 after missing five games with a hamstring injury. Now that Scoot is back, Portland has three of its four key rotation guards, with Shaedon Sharpe included. The only one missing is starting two-guard Anfernee Simons, who had thumb surgery after the first game of the season.

Simons is due back sometime in mid-December.

The Trail Blazers have struggled to a 3-11 record so far this season, in part due to the injuries. Hopefully, Henderson's return, even if it's off the bench for now, will help Portland get back in the win column.
