The Portland Trail Blazers have been stockpiling assets and prioritizing getting the best available players over roster fit, which is what any rebuilding team should be doing; this is especially true in the early stages of rebuilding, as Portland is only a year removed from moving on from superstar Damian Lillard.

For the most part, general manager Joe Cronin has done a solid job of accumulating promising young players who fit their rebuilding timeline well and still have untapped potential. However, a few established players remain on the Blazers' roster who could be moved, potentially even before the beginning of training camp.

If Portland does get involved in another offseason trade, they should strongly consider targeting these three players who can be acquired for reasonable value due to various factors.

1. Brandon Ingram

The New Orleans Pelicans may be preparing for life post-Ingram and shifting their focus to building around Zion Williamson. Ingram is on an expiring deal, and it remains to be seen whether or not he will stay in New Orleans following the 2024-25 season. As a result, Ingram can be had at a relative discount, even though he is just entering his prime at 26 years old.

It would be risky for any team, including the Blazers, to make a move for Ingram, given the possibility that he will walk at the end of the season. But that's also baked into the Pelicans' asking price. Who knows, Ingram could love being the go-to player in Portland (who desperately needs a star) and decide to stay long-term.
