5 Takeaways from the Trail Blazers' 5 Summer League games

3. Kris Murray hasn't shown enough development
Kris Murray and Rayan Rupert played by far the most minutes in the Summer League for the Blazers at 32.0 and 31.4 minutes per game, respectively. Murray is already 23 years old and a recent first-round pick. He should have been the Blazers' best player outside of Donovan Clingan.
Instead, he averaged 10.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. The main concern was his offensive inefficiency, going 34.6 percent from the field and 25.9 percent from deep. At times, he seemed to be an offensive liability, even against Summer League competition.
To his credit, Murray did end on a high note with 20 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and two steals in their final game. But Murray's play was wildly inconsistent. He averaged the same amount of points in last year's Summer League in fewer minutes (24.7) and better efficiency (43/32/57 shooting splits).
Murray is trending in the wrong direction, heading into a crucial sophomore season.
