The best players in Portland franchise history are easy to name. But when it comes to PER, who's No. 1?

5. Jusuf Nurkic

Is it a surprise to see Jusuf Nurkic on a top-10 list for a stat that can favor big men? Maybe not. But it is a bit of a shock to see him ahead of players such as Aldridge and Roy.

Nurk blossomed in Portland and was one of the best centers in the league for a brief period. He was acquired by the Blazers as a 22-year-old during the 2016-17 season and spent the next six years in Rip City, starting every game he played in and averaging 14.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.1 blocks on 51.4 percent shooting.

Injuries slowed Nurkic - literally and figuratively - and he was dealt to the Phoenix Suns last offseason as part of the Lillard trade. But his PER of 20.4 puts him on a list with some of the best Blazers of all-time.
