2024 NBA Mock Draft: Blazers take game-changer, Spurs get star at 1

13. Indiana Pacers (via LA Clippers) get Zaccharie Risacher
The Pacers took Ja’Kobe Walter with the ninth overall pick in this mock draft and should be looking for more help on the wing. Tyrese Haliburton is locked in as their lead playmaker. Myles Turner can protect the rim and space the floor at the five. Indiana needs versatile wings to round out their lineups.
Risacher is a 6’8 option who has three years of professional experience at 18 years old. He is playing a 20-minute per-game role for JL Bourg this season. Through ten games, the teenager averages 9.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steal per game.
Finding an athletic 6’8 wing who can push in transition, get to the rim, and defend multiple positions is not easy. Risacher may never be a star, but he could be a starter in the NBA for a decade-plus. He moves without the ball and loves to crash the glass. The teenager still has room to grow too.
The Indiana Pacers may decide to take an older player who is more NBA-ready, but Zaccharie Risacher is a talented guard/forward who could vault himself into the lottery. There are not a ton of wing options in this class, which could help his rise.
