3. Jerome “Mercy” Kersey

Jerome Kersey played for the Trail Blazers from 1984 to 1995 and was a fan favorite during his time in Portland. He was a dynamic small forward who could score, rebound, and defend. Kersey was also a key player on the Blazers teams that made it to the NBA finals in 1990 and 1992.

Despite his success, he is often forgotten when discussing the great Blazers players of all time. Like Porter and Robinson, he played in a time when the NBA was stacked with superstars on a team stacked with all-star talent.

Kersey also never quite achieved the level of individual recognition that some of his teammates did. He was a key contributor on successful teams, but he never made an All-Star team or earned any major individual awards.
