The short answer? Yes.

The more nuanced answer? Maybe. It depends on what other teams come calling and what they might offer.

Should the Blazers think about going a bit beyond the above figures? Money-wise, perhaps. But in terms of length? Probably not.

The number of years in these deals – and, preferably, some team options – are important. Reddish and Thybulle haven’t proven that they’re consistent, winning players who can fit alongside Lillard. Since they arrived in Portland, so far, so good. But it’s an incredibly small sample size.

Both players have shown enough flashes that the Blazers should try to re-sign them, assuming it’s on reasonable deals. It’s critical Cronin doesn’t get out over his skis, though, and throw out too much money or too many years. That could compromise the franchise’s ability to help Dame win a title now, as well as when he’s past his prime.
