Trail Blazers vs Pelicans Prop Bet Picks

A lot has changed for each team since the Trail Blazers picked up a 14-point victory in November. Zion Williamson is still on the shelf, and Damian Lillard will play after missing the first matchup. Here’s who I’m targeting for a big night:

Damian Lillard Over 4.5 Three-Pointers (+100)

Dame is on fire beyond the arc lately, clearing this number in four of his last five games. The Pelicans are in the bottom half of the league in defensive rating over the last 15 games, so I anticipate another big night from Lillard.

After draining 13 triples in a 71-point masterpiece against the Rockets, Dame cooled off against the Warriors. I think he gets back on track tonight, as he relishes facing New Orleans.

Dame has at least six three-pointers in four straight matchups against the Pelicans, so getting plus odds on him to get just five is a great value.

CJ McCollum Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (-113)

McCollum is 9-of-23 from beyond the arc in three games against his former team, and I think this line is a bit too low for a guy who shoots this often.

While he’s hit this prop in four of his last seven games, he easily could have hit it in six of those contests with a tad more precision. He shot just 1-of-8 from three against the Magic and 1-of-9 against the Knicks, so he’s due for some positive regression.

McCollum is a career 39% three-point shooter and I believe he’ll get back on track tonight.
