Made three-pointers – Damian Lillard

Lillard is now an Olympic champion, picking up a gold medal at the recently concluded 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Though the off-season hasn’t been all plain sailing, new coach Chauncey Billups will be a positive influence on this team in terms of the way they play on both ends. As we alluded to earlier, Lillard likely won’t take any fewer shots, but his shot selection may be slightly different.

Billups wants more nuance in the offense and an emphasis on ball movement. Though this won’t significantly change Lillard’s role, it’s likely to take the ball out of his hands slightly, to try and give him more efficient looks at the basket.

Will Dame attempt the same amount of three-pointers as previous years? Maybe not.

But there is a chance that he makes the same amount or more as he could be more efficient.

Dame is always far and away the highest volume three-point shooter on this team, and regardless of any scheme change, he will make the most threes next season.
