Points per game – Damian Lillard

There’s only one answer for the points per game leader on this Blazer team, and that’s Damian Lillard. Lillard has led this team in scoring since the 2015/16 season, and this year he is a lock to do it for a seventh consecutive year.

Dame, as the number one option and now firmly a top ten player in the league, has settled into very consistent production and efficiency over the last two seasons, averaging 20.4 and 19.9 shot attempts, which created scoring averages of 30.0 and 28.8 points per game.

Dame is the best player on this team and gets the shot attempts that he wants, in the spots he wants. His three-point shooting is the biggest weapon on this team by far, and it’s almost a lock that he will continue at this volume next season. He may though, be more efficient with a new coach in Chauncey Billups, meaning a slight uptick in points per game.

This won’t change the result though; Dame will lead the Blazers in points per game with at least 27 points per night.
