Move #6 – Sign Tony Snell to a one-year veterans minimum deal

Tony Snell is a six-foot-six wing with a near seven-foot wingspan and gives the Blazers great positional size as a backup at those positions. A near 40 percent shooter, as alluded to in the previous slide, this pickup becomes even better if McCollum was to be moved.

If not, the Blazers have a knockdown shooter who can play passable defense, has excellent positional size, and has playoff experience.

Another signing on the minimum, this definitely gives the Blazers more wing depth than they’ve had for a while. Though he is likely only a 10 – 16 minute guy, he is a strong addition at the end of the bench.

Grade – C +

The Blazers have had an average off-season with a few solid moves added in. Their 14th and likely last roster spot will largely decide the overall grade for the summer.
