Ranked two out of five, Anfernee Simons 24th pick in 2018 NBA Draft

Picked in a similar position to Little, but a year earlier, Anfernee Simons was selected 24th.

Another crazy athlete, Simons is a six-foot-three point guard who skipped college to go to IMG Academy. Though he had a rough second year after only playing sparingly in his rookie season, Simons bounced back in his third year, with a string of impressive performances.

As a lightning-quick athlete in transition, Simons actually won the dunk comp in 2020. But it was his shooting performances that caught the eye this year. He shot over 40 percent from three, and in around 16 minutes a night, he was the best high volume spot-up shooter in the entire league at around 50 percent overall.

Picking in the mid-twenties, this is looking to be a strong selection by Olshey. With his defense and playmaking also coming on, the Blazers could have their new rotation guard off the bench.
