Portland Trail Blazers second-round steal #3 – Isaiah Todd

Isaiah Todd is a six-foot-ten power forward who decided to take the G-League Ignite route, rather than go to college, where he was a five-star recruit.

Todd averaged 12 points and four rebounds for the Ignite last season, while also shooting an excellent 36 percent from three.

Todd is purely a power-forward, and projects as a strong scorer in the NBA. With the Blazers lack of a true four, and legitimate size at that spot, Todd could fit in nicely. He has nice post skills, with great touch around the rim.

Only playing 15 games for the Ignite means it hard to interpret what he got out of the last year. But, as he is mocked in the 40s to a lot of teams, it makes sense for someone like the Blazers to take him.

An excellent athlete with a full offensive package, he would be a great fit next to Jusuf Nurkic long-term.

If Todd does indeed full to the 40s, it would make sense for Olshey to trade a future second or use cash to get him.

All three of the above players provide interesting options in the second round for the Blazers. With their superior player development and the need for big men like these, Olshey could pluck one of them on draft night.
