Portland Trail Blazers bargain free agent #3 – Glenn Robinson III

Glenn Robinson III is a 27-year old small forward who stands six-foot-six and played for the Sacramento Kings this season.

Robinson had the best season of his career in 2020 for the Golden State Warriors, averaging 11.7 points and 4.4 rebounds on an excellent 39 percent from three.

Robinson isn’t a good defender like the other guys on this list but is more of an athletic heat-up quick scorer who is a strong rebounder. Though he is just 27, he won’t have a massive market in free agency but could be a good backup two / three on the veterans minimum.

Portland Trail Blazers bargain free agent #4 – James Johnson

James Johnson could be the perfect veteran for this Trail Blazers team. The 34-year-old Johnson is a six-foot-seven power forward who finished the last season on the New Orleans Pelicans.

Always known as one of the toughest guys in the league, Johnson would bring that toughness to a Blazers team that is really lacking on the defensive end. Though he is just a role player these days, Johnson is an excellent passer as a power forward while also being great at forcing turnovers and blocking shots.

Johnson is a defensive specialist who can finish well at the rim and set up his teammates out of the post or perimeter.
