Team #2: Philadelphia 76ers

Portland Trades: CJ McCollum, Derrick Jones Jr. (assuming he picks up his option)

Philadelphia Trades: Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey

Why Portland does this: Tobias Harris just enjoyed the best year of his career putting up 20 points a game on efficient shooting. He would give Portland more size and a little more versatility on both sides of the ball. Maxey is a promising young player that would be the first guard off the bench, I am not totally sure what to expect from him, but he looks like he will be a serviceable combo guard at the worst.

Why Philadelphia does this: This scenario totally depends on another disappointing end to the season for Philly. They may go nuclear and trade Simmons somewhere but that is probably out of the Blazers range. Here they move their next best player in Harris to get a better isolation player for the end of the game and gives them more reliable scoring and shooting. They probably wouldn’t love losing Maxey but I think he has become overrated by the media and Daryl Morey knows that.
