Team #1: Memphis Grizzlies

Portland Trades: CJ McCollum

Memphis Trades: Justise Winslow, 1 of Dillon Brooks / Kyle Anderson, 1 of Xavier Tillman/Desmond Bane/Grayson Allen/Brandon Clarke

Why Portland does this:

Dillon Brooks or Kyle Anderson would slot in nicely in the starting lineup giving the Blazers more size and another solid wing defender also someone that can handle the ball a little bit to get Dame off ball a little more.

Justise Winslow slots in as the 6th man as a point forward that can guard bigger wings and run the offense.

Any one of the young guys would be important rotation players, Brandon Clarke would be the least likely I would guess.

Tillman would give Portland a legitimate backup center that can play in the playoffs and space the floor.

Bane offers great wing depth on both sides of the ball. Allen is similar to Bane just not quite the offensive threat and Clarke would bring athleticism, rebounding and energy for a bench unit lacking those things.

Why Memphis does this: This is the team that in my eyes makes the most sense to look to acquire CJ. They have a star in Ja Morant and a good building block in Jaren Jackson Jr. and after these playoffs may want to see what that nucleus could be with a little more offensive power.

Even making this trade they would still have a lot of depth and options in their rotation.
