Will Barton – wing
Will Barton is a six-foot-six wing originally drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers back in 2012. Barton wasn’t able to break into the Blazers rotation, so the Blazers traded him to the Nuggets for Arron Afflalo in 2015.
Aaron Gordon – forward
Aaron Gordon is a six-foot-nine forward who is one of the most athletic players in the NBA. Gordon has famously been the runner-up in the Slam Dunk contest multiple times, even though his dunks were arguably better than the eventual winner in Zach LaVine.
Jamal Murray – point guard
Jamal Murray is a six-foot-three point guard who is sadly not going to participate in this year’s playoffs due to a torn ACL. Murray had just inked a five-year $170 million deal before the 2021 season.
Michael Porter Jr – forward
Michael Porter Jr is a six-foot-ten forward who was drafted in 2018 but had to red-shirt his rookie year because of a back injury. He has bounced back well from injuries early in his career and is now a key player in this series for the Nuggets.
Nikola Jokic – center
Nikola Jokic is a six-foot-eleven big man who is the best player on the Nuggets. Jokic amazingly fell to the 41st pick in the second round of the 2014 draft before the Nuggets snapped him up. Jokic is now the best player in Nuggets franchise history and the likely 2021 MVP.
