No. 3: Roy’s surprise return against Suns in Playoffs

Knee injuries plagued Roy for nearly his entire career. You could never tell how much that weighed on him mentally by the way he carried himself.

Roy has been a fighter since day one, and that fighting spirit not only elevates himself but those around him as well.

A perfect example of this was seen on April 24th, 2010, in yet another performance against the Phoenix Suns.

Roy had hardly been out of surgery for a week, yet he suited up for a playoff game against Phoenix.

While the previous game mentioned was an example of Roy’s incredible play, the rest of the team made this Brandon Roy memory great.

All Roy had to do was simply walk over to the scorer’s table, and the team immediately felt his presence going on an 8-0 run before he was even able to check-in.

While he may not have performed statistically as many were used to seeing from him, he was still the most important player on the floor that night.
