The Portland Trail Blazers have signed Keljin Blevins to a two-way contract for the 2021 season. Blevins is a cousin of Damian Lillard.

The Portland Trail Blazers have locked in their 14 man roster for the 2021 season and have now signed Keljin Blevins to one of the two available two-way contracts. Blevins is the cousin of Damian Lillard.

Blevins is a six-foot-six wing who at twenty-five, was actually on the Blazers roster in the last pre-season.

He played four years in college at Southern Miss and Montana State before going undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft.

Signed to a training camp deal last season, he was waived before the season after playing four preseason games for the Blazers, then played the whole season for the Northern Arizona Suns in the G-League.

In 25 games played for the Suns, he played 16 minutes a night, averaging 4 points a game.

In a slight change to the rules around two-way contracts, these players have no limits to how long they can spend with the NBA team and can appear in up to 50 games.

Blevins main strengths are his defense and hustle. After not seeing him play a significant role in the G-League last season, it will be interesting to see if he appears in any NBA games this season.

The Blazers’ wing rotation is stacked, so he may spend more time on other team’s G-League affiliates rather than playing for the Blazers themselves.
