The NBA Draft is just around the corner, and the Portland Trail Blazers hold the 16th pick in a deep prospect pool. Here are the ones most linked to Portland.

Taking a look at the roster for the Portland Trail Blazers, their biggest area of weakness is their lack of capable wings, especially on the defensive end. Getting a forward who can defend multiple positions while also holding his own on offense will be a good boost to the team on both sides of the ball.

Other possible holes to fill with their first-round selection include the backup big position (and a potential Zach Collins replacement) and another backup guard with more experience as a floor general.

Because of the 2020 NBA Draft and its lack of star power, mock drafts have varied wildly on who teams will take, especially getting into the lottery and beyond. Although a few names have swirled around, even a week before draft night it’s still hard to tell who the Portland Trail Blazers have their eye on with their first-round pick.

That hasn’t stopped news outlets from making projections, and lots of them. This article takes 30 of the most recent NBA mock drafts by news outlets and ranks all ten players mocked to the Portland Trail Blazers by their number of selections.
