Portland Trail Blazers: CJ McCollum weds partner in October ceremony

Now firmly in the off-season, Portland Trail Blazers veteran CJ McCollum tied the knot with his longtime partner Elise Esposito.

Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum married his longtime girlfriend Elise Esposito this week.

McCollum and Esposito have been together since they were at Lehigh University. They were gym partners and eventually got engaged in 2018.

Esposito is a dentist by trade and a graduate of Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine.

Both McCollum and Esposito shared personal messages on their respective social media accounts.

McCollum has had a busy post lockdown period. He launched his own wine label and then helped lead the Blazers to the playoffs with some brave performances despite having a fractured vertebra in his spine. He played in the NBA’s first-ever playin game, finishing things off with a couple of clutch buckets down the stretch against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Now he has married his university sweetheart, making the most of what may be a shortened offseason if the NBA regular season returns in December.

McCollum is on a long-term deal with the Blazers that runs through the 2023/24 season. All the best in married life, CJ.
