Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum is set to launch his new show “ReMaking America” in the coming weeks.

Over the last few years, the Portland Trail Blazers have embodied the term “More Than An Athlete.” Each of their three most marketable players has stepped behind the mic, either as a hip-hop personality, or through podcasting. CJ McCollum will move that needle a step further, through the launch of his new talk show series.

McCollum’s new talk show series, “ReMaking America,” is set to take place on The Players TV and Sling, where they will touch on topics ranging from anywhere from social issues to interviews with athletes, politicians, and community leaders, per their Twitter post.

On their header, one can get an idea of who else will appear on the show. Two Portland Trail Blazers players, Carmelo Anthony and CJ McCollum will be there, as well as fellow NBA stars such as Chris Paul, De’Aaron Fox, Kyrie Irving, and DeAndre Jordan as investors.

There are also NFL players on board, such as Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Vernon Davis, most known for his work as one of the league’s premier tight ends with the San Francisco 49ers.

For those unfamiliar, this won’t be McCollum’s first rodeo as an off-court speaker. A few weeks before the 2018 NBA Playoffs, the shifty guard released his first podcast, Pull Up with ESPN’s Jordan Schultz.

McCollum been historically vocal on social issues. In the NBA bubble in Orlando, the back of his jersey read “Education Reform.” He also uses his social media platform to attack some of those aforementioned topics, too.

Per Christina Settimi of Forbes, the show is set to launch before the election on Nov. 3, with U.S. Senator and Democratic Vice President candidate Kamala Harris as one of the hyped guests for the show.
