The Portland Trail Blazers face Western Conference rival the LA Clippers on Saturday in a pivotal matchup in the NBA Bubble in Orlando.
The Portland Trail Blazers play the LA Clippers in a massive matchup on Saturday. The Blazers are trying to secure the all-important eight-seed, while the Clippers are trying to stay ahead of the Denver Nuggets to secure the two seed. This game could have massive implications on the Blazers seeding some recent results. The Memphis Grizzlies, who currently occupy the eight-seed, upset the Oklahoma City Thunder 121 – 92.
The Brooklyn Nets also beat the Sacramento Kings, and the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Washington Wizards.
This chain of results means that the Grizzlies sit one game ahead of the Blazers, and two games ahead of the San Antonio Spurs.
In two games so far this season, the Clippers beat the Blazers on both occasions. Both away games, the results were 101 – 107 and 97 – 117.
Some reports have stated that the Clippers could rest Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, but this hasn’t been confirmed anywhere yet.
