The Portland Trail Blazers matchup with the Toronto Raptors in the second scrimmage game in the NBA bubble in Orlando on Sunday.
The Portland Trail Blazers take on the Toronto Raptors in their second scrimmage in Orlando on Sunday. After dropping the first scrimmage 91 – 88 against the Indiana Pacers, the Blazers will look to bounce back against the defending champion and Eastern Conference powerhouse Raptors.
Though the results aren’t overly significant in the four scrimmages games, the Blazers would still like to get a win on the board while trialing their new potential starting lineups.
Hassan Whiteside missed the last game but will be available for this matchup. There is also a chance that when the official games begin, he will start at center next to Jusuf Nurkic, who will be at the four. Coach Terry Stotts will give these lineups a look before deciding to lock them.
In the two home and away matchups with the Raptors this season, the Blazers had an eight-point loss and then a two-point win on the back of a Carmelo Anthony game-winner.
The Raptors will be at full-strength, with no squad members opting out of the NBA Orlando return.
