Almost every basketball fan at the moment is watching ‘ The Last Dance, ‘ which three things could the Portland Trail Blazers learn from this documentary?

‘ The Last Dance ‘ has rocked the basketball world while there is no NBA basketball is being played. A perfect distraction with a lot of people at home or quarantined due to COVID-19, there have been a plethora of story lines and lessons to be learned from this documentary for the Portland Trail Blazers.

The 1990s Chicago Bulls were one of the greatest teams in NBA history. Though Jerry Krause isn’t the most popular General Manager, he found ways to keep this team relevant, and then re-up when they needed to for the second three-peat.

They had an excellent coach in in Phil Jackson and built around two key players in Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

The Blazers obviously went down to the Chicago Bulls in the 1992 Finals. This sadly ended the run of one of the greatest ever Blazers teams. There is probably a lesson or two just in there for Neil Olshey and this Blazers team.

Though the Bulls had six championships in eight years, it took Jordan seven years to get his first title, and it wasn’t always smooth sailing getting there.
