Pick Analysis. Illawarra Hawks. player. 1. 24. Scouting Report. Point Guard. LaMelo Ball

The Chicago Bulls move up six spots in this Tankathon SIM, giving fans something to be happy about after three years of picking at number seven.

LaMelo Ball, of the famous Ball family and younger brother of Lonzo Ball, is the prospect with the most star potential in this Draft.

The Bulls, still in need of a point guard to break down the defense, will get the younger Ball brother as their playmaker of the future. Though they already have Coby White in-house, there is a chance that Ball could be a franchise changing point guard.

He has Magic Johnson type vision at six-foot-seven with a big six-foot-ten wingspan. Taking the unconventional route to the NBA via the Australian NBL, Ball wowed crowds down under with his unbelievable passing ability.

Like any 18-year-old kid, he still has a lot to learn. He doesn’t seem to be a great defender and needs to work on his off-ball movement and shooting.

But if his play making is anywhere near the level that some have predicted, then this makes the other areas less of a concern.

The Australian NBL is full of ex European / NBA and Division 1 College players, and Ball had them in the palm of his hand with his amazing dribble and then eye-popping passes. His touch is also impressive for a kid of only 18.

He was hitting Steph Curry floaters from as far as back as the foul line also, this type of touch bodes well for his scoring game in the future.

The Bulls are in need of a true playmaker, with the number one pick they should select LaMelo Ball
