Last article, the Trail Blazers odds to win the title were at 60/1 to win the NBA title, and since then the odds don’t look good for them.

In the last article, we looked at how the Trail Blazers championship odds were looking out of reach and how you should keep your money. Well, it seems that might be the greatest idea I have ever come up with since learning and training on how to do these odds. After the Trail Blazers two blowout loses, it seems Caesars Sports Book has its odds pulling away from Rip City.

According to Caesars Sports Book, the latest odds on the Trail Blazers to win the NBA championship have jumped from 60/1 to 150/1 after two losses that should have been closer than the spread lead you to believe.

Even though the Trail Blazers have announced the return of Jusuf Nurkic and the Blazers have their key tandem back on the court Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, the odds have changed and are not in favour of Rip City coming back to make the playoffs, let alone make it to the NBA Finals. When we talk about the Portland Trail Blazers winning the Western Conference Finals, however, the odds pull way from Rip City to favour their divisional rival.

The odds for the Blazers wining the Western Conference championship are 70/1, now that isn’t a great bet. When looking at the Northwest division they are not the favorite to win Western Conference from their division. The Denver Nuggets are the favorite with 22/1 odds, while the Utah Jazz sits at 40/1, Oklahoma City Thunder at 100/1, and Minnesota Timberwolves have been taken off the board due to the odds being off the charts.

Now, it’s up to you to bet on who you like but by looking at the Trail Blazers odds to win the NBA championship and Western Conference championship, I would keep the money in my wallet and find better odds to win more money.

Recommendation, I would put money, if was betting NBA, i would bet on Los Angeles Lakers at 9/5, Milwaukee Bucks at 5/2, and the Los Angeles Clippers at 13/4. If you’re thinking college basketball, I would recommend staying away from that in the month of March. As we all know, things get crazy in the month of March, that’s why they call it “March Madness” for a reason right?
