Trail Blazers look to start the New Year with a bang in Madison Square Garden
It’s a new year and a blank slate for the Portland Trail Blazers, let’s see if they can start off strong against one of the NBA’s bottom feeders.
Let’s hope the Portland Trail Blazers will stick to their own New Year’s resolutions and put the worst behind them. Tonight’s game against the New York Knicks seems like the perfect opportunity to burst out of the gates and hopefully re-assert their dominance like we saw in the second half of last season.
The New York Knicks have gotten off to a pitiful 9-24 start to the season, and have more question marks surrounding their rotation than Portland has injuries.
This game will be the first pit stop on Portland’s five-game road trip, where the Trail Blazers will also visit other east coast teams in Washington and Miami. Despite the Knicks’ slow start, the Trail Blazers are just 3.5 point favorites and could be in trouble if they underestimate their competition.
Here’s how you can watch tonight’s game and what you can expect as Rip City looks to leave their imprint on the Big Apple.
