When these teams last played on Monday, the Portland Trail Blazers dominated the Chicago Bulls 117-94. Let’s hope Rip City can repeat history again tonight.

It feels like just a few days ago when Carmelo Anthony lit up the Bulls for a game-high 25 points and proved to the world he’s still got game. Oh wait, that’s because it was just a few days ago. The Portland Trail Blazers are running it back again against Chicago, but this time the action will take place on their own turf.

The Bulls entered the season with playoff aspirations, but have struggled mightily due to poor coaching and a dysfunctional managerial team. These are the kind of wins Portland needs to pick up if they want to be taken seriously as a playoff contender.

A win here would make it three straight, and hopefully spark some life back into this team that seemed dead in the water at 5-12 to start the week. If they can fight back to .500 by the All-Star break, the Trail Blazers will have legitimate momentum behind them as Jusuf Nurkic makes his long awaited return.

Here’s how to watch tonight’s game, and what you can expect from all the action.

Projected Starting Lineups and Injury Report

Portland Trail Blazers (7-12)

Chicago Bulls (6-13)

Staff Predictions

"“After a 23-point loss on Monday in Chicago, the Bulls are coming to Portland looking for revenge. I don’t foresee Melo scoring 25 points against them again, but the Blazers offense should stay hot. As long as the  Blazers defend the 3-ball and contain Zach LaVine, Portland should take another victory from the Bulls. — Zahnd"

"“This should be another win for the Blazers. It was a blowout on Monday, and I think this encounter will be similar. The Bulls will be straight up bad until Boylen is fired.” — Gaskin"

"“Blazers should repeat their earlier smackdown of the Bulls. We need to not let ourselves play down to competition. In a position where the games we “should”, win we absolutely HAVE to win!” — Kahn"
