1. Denver Nuggets (4-2)

Record Last Week (2-2)

The Nuggets went 2-2 in their 4 game slate of a week and were impressive except for a blowout loss to the underperforming Pelicans where nothing was working.

Although the Pelicans loss was nothing pretty, Nuggets fans had to be ecstatic about Michael Porter Jr. making his NBA debut and playing well. Porter managed to score 15 points on just 8 shot attempts and showcased all elements of his loaded offensive arsenal.

Nikola Jokic had a rather sluggish week for what we’re used to from the star center. Jokic only averaged 13 points per night but was only shooting about 10 times per game. Jokic lowering the attempts shouldn’t be something that is expected to continue but shows his trust in his teammates.

This Nuggets team is home to the best 10 man rotation in the whole NBA. Denver has a solid starter and backup for every single position which makes this team so lethal moving forward. The Nuggets have so many players with the potential to beat you on any given night especially if MPJ can continue to grow throughout the year.

This week’s upcoming schedule

  • Vs Miami (Tue, Nov. 5)
  • Vs Philadelphia (Fri, Nov. 8)
  • @ Minnesota (Sun, Nov. 10)

Check back in next week after all the action unfolds and the dust settles to see how the NBA’s toughest division shakes out.
