2. Minnesota Timberwolves (4-1)

Record Last Week (1-1)

The Minnesota Timberwolves had a light yet exciting week nonetheless. The Wolves only had two games, but their matchup with the Sixers came with a little extra entertainment.

The Wolves played an intense game in Philadelphia on Wednesday night as the game saw the two best players on the court exit early due to a fight that broke out between the superstar centers. Karl-Anthony Towns and Joel Embiid were not shy to show their emotions as the two scuffled on the court and then turned to social media to let everyone know this brawl was for real.

Towns only played 23 minutes in this week’s action as he was forced to exit early against the Sixers and was held out versus the Wizards due to suspension.

The Wolves managed to dominate the Wizards even with the absence of Towns which is a good sign for Minnesota. Although the Wizards are not a great team, the Wolves winning without Towns shows that this team may be more than just Towns.

Andrew Wiggins had to carry the load for the Wolves averaging 20 points per game without Towns but still failed to shoot efficiently. Year six of Andrew Wiggins is upon us and he still can’t find a decent rhythm on offense.

This week’s upcoming schedule

  • Vs Milwaukee (Mon, Nov. 4)
  • @ Memphis (Wed, Nov. 6)
  • Vs Golden State (Fri, Nov. 8)
  • Vs Denver (Sun, Nov. 10)
