Tune in as the Portland Trail Blazers look to big up some positive momentum as they take on a badly banged up Warriors team on life support.
If the Golden State Warriors were a Netflix series, they’d undoubtedly be A Series of Unfortunate Events. In a span of just 26 games, the Warrios have suffered major injuries to Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins, with a series of other injuries to role players. This is an unprecedented amount of catastrophe that no team could have possibly prepared for. While I’ll never take joy in another player’s misfortune, this is no time for the Portland Trail Blazers to lay off the gas.
The Blazers are presented with a perfect opportunity to beat down Golden State and exact a small amount of revenge after last year’s sweep at the hands of the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals. This will also give Portland the chance to potentially kickstart a little hot streak after starting the season 3-3.

Staff predictions
"“Funny how just a few months can dramatically change the landscape of the NBA. This looks to be the first easy game on the Blazers schedule thus far this season, let’s hope they can capitalize on this opportunity to build some positive momentum.” — Austin Carroll"
"“Portland will be too strong for the Warriors even though it’s an away game, with Steph out they will really struggle to beat playoff teams. Lillard and McCollum will torch the guard defenders.” — Stevie Cozens"
"“This should be a rout, and one Blazer fans should enjoy. The Warriors looked bad enough with Steph Curry on the floor, but now that the former MVP has gone down for 3 months, this will be a very comfy win for Portland.” — Ryan Gaskin"
"“The Blazers first appearance in the new Chase Center should be an easy win. That feels very strange to say, but the Warriors barely gave a pulse right now.” — Andrew Zahnd"
