4. Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis’ dream finally came true. The New Orleans Pelicans moved Davis to Los Angeles and he’s never seemed so confident and energetic to start a season. Too many people lost faith in The Brow within the roller coaster of a season that he had last year. Davis is a monster on both ends of the court and he’s ready to remind the league of his capabilities.

Davis is a matchup nightmare for anyone. Standing nearly 7-feet tall with a wingspan well beyond that mark makes him deadly. He has every tool needed to be among the league’s leading scorers as many forget he finished second in scoring just two seasons ago.

Davis has a full set of tools to work with. He’s long and athletic, but dribbles like a guard. Rebounds with the best of them but can space the floor and is effective at the free throw line. His 3-point shot is inconsistent yet has to be respected by the opposing defense.

The premiere of Anthony Davis partnered next to LeBron James is only weeks away now and nobody is ready for the splash they could make. James has made it clear that the focal point of the offense is going to be Davis which should excite all Lake Show faithful as the last thing they want is for Davis to be a rental player in Los Angeles.

The purple and gold haven’t had energy like this in recent memory. It all starts with Davis and he understands the importance of immediate success. The Brow’s young career hasn’t made it past the second round of the playoffs to date and that must motivate him to make sure he wastes none of the mileage LeBron has left on his legs.
