10. Justin Holiday, Guard/Forward

Perhaps the most talented basketball player remaining in this year’s free agency class, Justin Holiday has a lot going for him. Since 2017, Holiday has started for the Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies, posting averages of 11.3 points and 4 rebounds per game with 35.3 percent shooting from deep on just shy of six attempts per game.

Holiday is also a long and athletic defensive presence on the wing. Last year, he generated 1.5 steals per game (tied for 13th best in the league). Unfortunately, Holiday has also become accustomed to his larger role on the offensive end. He has taken over ten shot attempts per game since joining Chicago in 2017.

His fit with the Blazers remains questionable due to play efficiently in a team-first setting, seen by his 10 PER and 52 percent true shooting last season.

9. Kyle Korver, Guard

Let’s be honest, at 38-years-old it’s difficult for Kyle Korver to push the margin in many meaningful facets of the game. Except for shooting. And by the basketball gods themselves, boy can Korver shoot the lights out.

Korver has a career mark of 42.9 percent from beyond the arc and shows no signs of stopping any time soon. Considering Anthony Tolliver is the only member of Portland’s bench that has proven to be a consistent 3-point threat at the NBA level, some extra shooting would be much appreciated.

Having Korver step in and knock down two or three triples per game would be huge for building positive momentum in games as well as having an elite late-game lineup in situations where a clutch 3-point shot could decide the fate of a close game. Perhaps the Portland Trail Blazers can be the team that finally gets Korver his ring.
