As 2020 creeps closer, now is as good of a time as any to reflect on the best players to don a Portland Trail Blazers jersey in the last decade.

One of the oldest and most storied franchises in the league, the Portland Trail Blazers have had their share of iconic players and NBA legends. This past decade was no exception. In the following slides we’ll examine some of the greatest NBA players in franchise history. Players that have served as generational icons, childhood heroes, or a beacon of hope for distraught long-time fans.

In the last ten years, the Blazers have made the playoffs an impressive eight times. Portland fans have been quite accustomed to the Blazers’ winning culture. In that span, the Blazers achieved four series victories, including most recently a trip to the Western Conference Finals. Many exceptional players have worn the Blazers threads in the last decade and we’re here to determine who was the best of the best.

We’ll be taking a look all the way back to the 2009-10 season to decide who were the best Blazers in the last decade. Any results prior to that season will be excluded from the discussion (sorry B-Roy).

Longevity with the team will also be just as important as each player’s absolute peak. Five years of consistent production is more valuable than one flash in the pan year’s worth of success.

Without further ado, let’s see who earned a spot among the Portland Trail Blazers’ top five players of the last decade.
