Luguentz Dort: Arizona State, Guard

Luguentz Dort, a freshman guard from Arizona State, showcased his potential as a defensive minded NBA combo guard with the upside to become a plus offensive player. After a scorching start to the year where he averaged 22 points per game, he cooled off during PAC-12 play.

His 6’4″ frame with a 6’8″ wingspan, combined with his physicality and versatility, gives Dort the ability to become a quality defender at multiple positions. With Simons and Dort, the Blazers could have a great young backcourt off the bench to complement their star backcourt.
