Paul George Struggles on Offense

When the Blazers first earned the three seed and the playoff bracket was officially set, I was concerned about playing the Oklahoma City Thunder. That was primarily due to Paul George.

We all know that the Thunder swept the regular season series, but that was due to George putting the Thunder on his back and averaging 38 points per game in those matchups.

George’s health suddenly became a huge question mark for game one. He was listed as a game-time decision but ultimately ended up playing. One thing was clear, this is not the same George that dominated in the regular season.

He struggled to hit open shots and lacked explosion. George finished the night with 26 points, but he shot only 8-24 from the field and 4-15 from three.

He was easily outplayed by Lillard, and if he cannot return to form, the Blazers will win this series with ease.
