How the Portland Trail Blazers Could Land Jimmy Butler This Offseason

In a Bleacher Report article with Jonathan Abrams, Butler stated the following:
"“Whatever you want from this game, win and you can have it”"
Winning has been the priority throughout his career. It is what reportedly caused a rift between him and some of his teammates in Minnesota.
In an interview with Rachel Nichols of ESPN, Butler said the following about “certain” players in Minnesota’s locker room:
"“I’m not going to say no names. I’m going to be honest: If your No. 1 priority isn’t winning, people can tell. That’s the battle. Now there is a problem between people. That’s where the disconnect is.”"
Playing for a contender will be a priority for Butler, and the Blazers are one of a few teams that can offer him true title contention. When healthy, the Blazers could already be the second best team in the Western Conference and boast a better overall record than the 76ers. Adding Butler to the mix would make this team extremely dangerous.
