The Phoenix Suns need help. The roster actually is not in horrible shape. Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton are highly regarded by many, and TJ Warren has been sensational in his role. Nevertheless, the Suns are still at the bottom of the league.
I really like the idea of Morant on the Suns. The team has needed a point guard for some time, and he could really change the direction of their franchise. However, I do not see the front office rolling the dice on a small school prospect with the first overall pick.
Zion Williamson can also change the direction of a franchise. He has been absolutely unguardable at Duke putting up averages of 22.4 points and 9.2 rebounds. He has generational athleticism and can handle the basketball.

There are still questions about Williamson’s fit in the NBA. What position is he going to play? Can he develop enough as a shooter to play on the perimeter? Can he play inside at only 6′ 7″? When you have a player as talented as Williamson, you figure it out. Ayton, Booker, and Williamson would give the Suns an extremely talented young core and a bright future.
