The Washington Wizards seem to be rebuilding the team around Bradley Beal. They have moved on from Markieff Morris, Otto Porter, and Marcin Gortat in the past year. The Wizards may look to move on from John Wall who suffered a season ending heel injury and recently signed a contract extension worth $207 million. Wall can still help a team when healthy and the Wizards may be able to flip him when he returns to the court.
In the meantime, Darius Garland could form a dynamic backcourt with Beal. Garland is an excellent three-point shooter; he shot 47.8% from deep at Vanderbilt. He is a skilled passer with elite speed. His 6′ 2″ height limits him defensively, but he more than makes up for it with his technique and motor.
Garland, Beal, and Troy Brown would give the Wizards a solid young core and finally a clear direction.
