2019 NBA Mock Draft 3.0
By Jakob Ashlin
We actually had Darius Bazley being selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in our previous mock draft.
Bazley is a very talented prospect, but his draft stock will only become harder to gauge as the draft approaches. Bazley was a five star recruit out of high school. He has a well rounded offensive game and the potential to defend all five positions on defense.
He would likely be locked in as a first round pick, if it was not for his puzzling situation. Bazley opted to not play college basketball and was going to play in the G-League. However, he changed his mind once again and his agent Rich Paul landed him an internship at New Balance where he is set to be paid approximately one million dollars.
As a result, scouts have not seen Bazley on the court this season and he is missing out on game action that could further develop his game. Nevertheless, Bazley would be a steal at 30th overall for the Bucks.
