2019 NBA Mock Draft
By Jakob Ashlin
Killian Tillie is a combo forward from Gonzaga. Tillie is originally from Paris, France. In fact, he competed for France in the 2017 FIBA Under-19 World Cup, and his father coaches the French national men’s volleyball team.
Tillie is a gifted shooter. He shot 47.9% from deep last season for the Bulldogs. He is a solid rebounder, as well.
Unfortunately, Tillies underwent ankle surgery in late October and is expected to miss the first two months of the season. However, the injury should not have a large impact on Tillie’s draft stock, as long as his production does not significantly drop when he returns.
Tillie should be able to provide floor spacing for Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder. He also would fit well alongside defensive-minded wing Andre Roberson.
Tillie would be a solid pick up for the Trail Blazers, but he does possess superstar upside. In a league filled with superteams, the Blazers should be swinging for the fences.
